Ursula - The little Mermaid
Hi! My name is Henna, aka Kesakeru, and I am a 28 year old cosplayer from Finland. I've been cosplaying for around 10 years now (on and off), though I've only been "active" in our local cosplay scene for the past couple of years or so.
To me cosplay is a way to express myself in a way I might not do irl. I tend to focus on plus sized characters, as I feel they don't get enough focus in the cosplay scene even though they are awesome! And when I am in costume I truly feel good about myself, and it really boost my self-esteem which (sadly) tends to normally be on the lower side.
Anyways, this is my Cosplay & Character photo. (Please excuse my lack of editing skills haha.) As some of you might know, the character is called Ursula, and she is a badass! I love cosplaying Disney characters, villains in particular, and Ursula just happens to be my all time favorite Disney villain! I originally cosplayed Ursula a couple of years ago, but I am going to be cosplaying her again this summer at Animecon (in Finland) as we have a Villains group there this year.
To be clear, I tend to take some liberties when I am making a costume, but still try and capture the look of the character. Still, I hope you all like it! So Vote and Share if you think I should be in the EZCOSPLAY's Hall of Fame! (Though let's be honest, I'd just be happy to take part!)
